Go Forth, And SNARK :-)
I got a phone call the other day from my sister, who was very excited, to let me know about an event at next week’s Romantic Times Booklover’s Convention. It seems a handful of Olde City, New Blood Featured Authors (Laurie London, Damon Suede, Elisabeth Staab, C J Ellisson, and Laura Kaye) had so much fun at during the bad movie tweet-up (an interactive snarkfest while watching the deliciously craptastic movie, The Covenant), that they sweet talked RT into letting them do it there, too!! While the movie lent itself easily to the good natured jabs, it was Damon Suede’s running commentary and behind the scenes offerings that really took the viewing to another level.
I’m so thrilled that another group will get to have that experience, and I’ll DEFINITELY be following along from home that night, and tweeting along with the crowd! The fun will start on April 30th, at 8:30pm CENTRAL, and will end around 11pm. (Be sure to check for the time adjustment for your zone.)

I’m in the process of narrowing down movie choices for next year’s Bad Movie Tweet-Up at Coastal Magic Convention. It’s got to be a movie that’s both enjoyable, and snarkworthy. (with paranormal elements, of course) I’ve got a few options in mind, but I’m always open to suggestions. Let me know if you’re planning to follow along with the RT Cinema Craptastique, or if you have any ideas I should consider for Coastal Magic.
I’m gonna go stock up on popcorn!!

Are you going to RT?
Jennifer, if you want we can even coordinate a start time for folks watching at home if they want to play along… 🙂 We could tweet the moment we press PLAY and the roll of the credits so peopel could participate. We have an entire screen JUST for Tweets so folks at RT will be seeing whatever activity has the #RTmovieslam hashtag. 🙂 I love the idea of folks all over joining in!
That would be AWESOME!!!! I have a family thing that night, so I’m not sure I’ll be back in time for the start button, but I’ll be getting here as quickly as I can without being rude. I’ll do whatever I can to get everyone on the same page 🙂 I’m so excited to be a part of it, lol!!!
