Featured Author Reveals, and Registration Links, and Reading Challenges… OH, MY!!

Now that June is here — the start of our journey towards the 2026 Coastal Magic Convention has truly begun!! In case you missed it — here are a few reminders of what to expect during the summer/fall this year, and at the convention in February (click on each image to go to Facebook posts with more info.)

I’m SO happy with the Featured Authors we’ve announced so far, and can’t wait to share the last few names we still have to reveal. (Those will be coming soon. <3)

Right now — registration is OPEN, so if you’d like to come hang out with really great reader friends (ones you come with, or ones you make once you get here) and some AH-MAZ-ING authors… we’d love to have you. You can see a basic outline of what we have planned on the “Schedule” tab. This will be updated when the actual panel and activity schedule is made public at the beginning of 2026.

Be sure to check out our Facebook Authors & Attendees group and Reading Challenge group. The attendees group will have general Coastal Magic info, fun bookish chat (memes, games, author & reader interaction, etc.) – but is a “no promo” group with the one exception of our Sunday “New Releases & Sales” thread. Our Reading Challenge group has LOTS of enthusiastic book related chatter — including book promo info, author spotlights, group reads, friendly challenge competition, etc. It’s pretty active in there, lol!! (They’re super nice, very welcoming, and everyone encourages each other to do well, no matter if you read 10 books, or 100. ❤ )

Be on the lookout for the Reading Challenge reading and spotlight schedule to be shared soon, along with the #CMCChat virtual panel schedule to be posted. Our 2026 shirt (and other merch) designs will be coming in the next few weeks.

And I am SUPER excited for our theme for #CMCon26!!! I’ve wanted to do this theme for a long time, and I think we finally have some really fanstic ideas for building it into our weekend…

We’ll be playing with the ideas of sweet, pretty gardens — wild, dangerous gardens — poison gardens — fantasy gardens — ALL OF THE GARDENS!! 🙂 Stay tuned for more about our weekend activities and their floral inspirations!!
