CMCChats are back!! These are monthly, virtual panel discussions with some of our 2025 Featured Authors.

Each chat has a designated topic (many are centered around random, fun “holidays” happening on that day), and will be shared live onto our public Facebook page and Authors & Attendees group.

Readers have the opportunity to comment and/or ask questions in real time, and some will be included in the live!

Participating authors for each will be announced with the promo for the chat, about a week or so before the live date.

June 27th – National BINGO Day
Fun BINGO-style intro of some of our 2025 Featured Authors. (watch this chat HERE)

July 25th – National Cheese & Wine Day
Let’s chat about book & drink pairings!! What snack/drinks (with or without alcohol) would suit our authors’ books best? And why? What are YOUR favorite reading snacks/drinks?

August 8th – Summer Olympics
Authors chat about their interest in the Olympics, and/or sports in general. What sports would their characters medal in?

September 19th – National Forensic Science Week
Mystery/Suspense authors chat about the nitty-gritty details in their stories. The research and reality in their fiction.

October 24th – Halloween Flash Fiction Preview
CMCon25 Featured Authors who are participating in the Flash Fiction Blog Event chat about their stories & Halloween traditions.

November 14th – National Children’s Day
Fun chat with authors who include families with children in their stories. Whether it’s a YA book with primarily younger characters, or an adult book with children included.

December 12th – Gingerbread House Day
Interactive chat with authors about their holiday stories WHILE we each build a gingerbread house!

January 2nd – National Science Fiction Day
SciFi authors chat about their own stories, along with their inspirations and current faves.

February 13th – World Radio Day
Annual chat with authors about their writing playlists, character theme songs, and mood music.
